Yamaha sustain pedal knock

Call Yamaha and order a set of pedal dowels, specify the Teflon, they also
used wood dowels for a while.  They come in a set of six.  Once you have
removed the pedal box bottom pull the pedals out, the dowels will come out
still attached to the pedal pins.
The number for Yamaha is 800 854 1569.  Be sure to have a serial number for
a "built-for-the-US" Yamaha grand as they won't ship the parts without it.
