NYT article on the Hamburg S&S factory

Here's the latest installment in the series (registration required).  They
acknowledge that action parts are made by S&S in NY, while being
"subcontracted out" in Hamburg.  NY changed to the straight "Sheraton-style"
case arms around the keyboard, while Hamburg kept the curved style.  And
Hamburg uses mahogany for the innermost rim while NY paints it black.
Interestingly, they both use the same source for most of the rest of the
materials, including sending plates there from Ohio!
