glueing nylon

Hi all,

I'm working on a Universal Player that has nylon pneumatic leaves and nylon 
actuator fingers glued together.  The original glue lasted close to some 20 
years.  The plastics merchant in this area has nothing good to say about 
adhesives holding nylon to nylon.  I've tried acrylic glue and "plastic 
glue" from PPC in Wichita.  None of which worked to my satisfaction.  I'm 
about to try old fashioned hot hide glue as a last result.  Any comments 
are welcomed.
