  but this invention gave me a good opportunity to laugh (while it is a =
little sad that people have spend so much time trying to commercialize =
such a goodie).
  Listen to the samples with and without the "pitch lock" and you will =
certainly - for most hear immediately why it is useless.

  On the other hand string coupling is exactly what we are after if we =
want to tune long lasting unisons (and nicely toning piano) - also what =
we get with voicing.

  DEAR PTG CHAPTER PRESIDENT:

  My name is Scott Jones and I am pleased to announce a new product now =
available to piano technicians.  PitchLock piano string couplers are =
small metal bands that link or "couple" pairs of piano strings.  The =
joined strings produce a single frequency, even if the individual =
strings are out of tune.  As a result, unison tuning longevity is =
significantly increased.  The effect is remarkable. =20

  You will be seeing and hearing a lot about this new concept in the =
very near future.  PitchLock will be featured in the February issue of =
the PTG journal.  We will also be exhibiting and teaching classes at =
