Hi Ron, I have been away for a few days. Call Samick and talk to Robert. We are well aware of some past plating problems, and would be willing to help. I'm not sure of the politics with Altenburg, but will find out in the next few days. From the description, re pinning is the long term solution, PERIOD. I prefer to ream out to #21 size pins to get all the crud out of the cloth. The job goes quite quickly if you use Mannino reamer's. Shrinking is second best, but it has a way of coming back to haunt you. The consumer has the right to have it fixed properly. IMO.
