How to Value a Piano Technician Business

Years ago an aged local tuner asked if I wanted to buy his business. Since
he was clueless on how to put a value on it, I offered to give him half of
all my gross sales from his customer list for one year. He never got back
to me, or anyone else as far as I know, so I assume all the clients
gradually found other tuners and he got nothing at all.

Clyde
