I'm not so sure it's a Disklavier. I think it is the old midi grand. This is
why it has the buttons above the keys.

According to Yamaha's "All Access" magazine young Elton has 4 "9 foot
Yamaha Disklavier DCF111 Concert Grand's". Piano "A" is his favorite. The
mag reads, "Its probably the most played, most traveled piano on the planet,
actually Elton has four touring piano systems, which are represented by
letters A through D. Each system involves a Yamaha Disklavier piano and a
rack of gear. There's also Piano E, a 7'6" Yamaha Grand in London that's
used for most of the studio work. But Elton's deepest emotional attachment
is to piano A." etc etc....................

So according to the blurb he does get to choose his piano, as he should!!

playing a

YAMAHA. Great marketing. Does he get to pick his piano or is that his
favorite?
