     Ah, yes,  Ms. Burkhardt and Ms. Lim.  The piece that really stuck in my 
mind was the "Variations on a Theme by Robert Schumann, by Clara Schumann.  
In fact, it is the reason that the next project I want to do is 
"Well-Tempered Clara".  I thought her composition was an absolute killer in 
the tuning they used.  
     It may be of interest to tuners considering adding a variety of 
temperaments to their offerings, that following that performance, I was asked 
to return to Washington University the following winter to spend a week 
maintaining a fortepiano in a Young tuning for Seth Carlin's Schubert 
recording sessions.  I offer this as continuing evidence that a technician 
can profit by expanding their offerings! (which has been my message from the 
beginning).
