I can't do a really creditable job on a piano in less than an hour or so.
I just can't. I've tuned over 25,000 pianois in my life; I'm really,
really good; I'm quick; I've got great ears, so I can move from note to
note quickly----but I just can't please my ears in under an hour, and
usually more like an hour and 15.
I charge $135 for a tuning---it's the big city, folks; a few guys charge
$150----and $65 for a pitch raise of any kind.
