newbie question: stocking strings

Charles,

Having plenty of wire around is a good thing.  I made an initial investment 
of a couple of hundred bucks to buy wire sizes 12-22 in one pound coils.  I 
have the vast majority of this stock left, but it has already paid for itself 
many times over.  This in less than a year.  You'll be amazed at how many 
pianos need a string or two or 10(hey, they were like that when I got there!).

Just don't forget the bandaids and safety glasses...8-)
