curing loose t-pins w/sandpaper

The fix is far better than "temporary," in mine 'umble opinion. It also
is fairly quick, works when you don't have an extra oversized pin, or
when you don't want a bright chrome sore thumb sticking out in a sea of
blued (or rusted) pins, especially in a grand where they are visible.

A more interesting question, from the original post, is why didn't the
epoxy work for him? I guess he just swabbed with it instead of fill 'n
drill.

That sounds like a really temporary fix. Why not replace the pins with
larger while you are at it?
