Thats another nice point about takeing the time to << calibrate >> an action with the equation based system. One knows that any resulting discrepancies in BW is because one or more of the parts that affect the ratio are not positioned correctly, and one can take steps to correct much of that. This goes for friction as well. All in all, about the only reason I can see for NOT configuring an action thus, is the initial time it takes to do so.
