Okay, y'all. Why all the ooh-ah-icky-no-do for CA?

In my boundless ignorance, I've been pasting ivory with CA for four
years, no problems that I could see--except the one time I had to take a
long grand piano key with me to the drug store to get some nail polish
remover ...

Yet through the years I've scraped off a bunch or what sure looked to me

like Duco (maybe Lepages) cement. Perhaps applied by a lesser
personage...

I never have found a quick and easy field repair that I liked.
