How Much Do You Charge?

My favorite reply to the constant query of how much do you charge:  "As
much as I can".

This is used with discretion; I don't use this line on customers without
a sense of humor or from radically different cultures.  But when I do I
almost always get the job!

Oh, and about the "How often should I tune my piano? question:
"As often as I can talk you into it."

This is usually followed with an explanation of the needs of the piano
and pianist.
