What Steinway mailed me last week (with a disclaimer on it) showed: 13-4, 13.5-4, 14-4, 14.5-5, 15-6,15.5-6, 16-5, 16.5-6, 17-12, 18-2, 19-2. As you can see there are not enough strings above the tied 5th 14.5 string at the break so obviously their chart was just missing the 12.5's. When the strings arrived (customer wanted their precut set) there was enough 12.5 wire for the two strings.
What was on the plate was (what we could read): 12.5-2, 13-4, 13.5-4,14-4, 14.5-5,15-6 ect.
What was measured was: 13-6, 13.5-4, 14-4, 14.5-5 ect.
Hope everyone is not too confused.
