It's worth going out for a look. There was a period when S&C was=20 selling pianos made by Yamaha under the S&C label. One customer has a=20 very nice G1 type grand, and another a spinet, both prominently =20 labeled S&C but elsewhere reading "made in Japan by Yamaha."
