    Richard - NY Steinway hammers have the name Steinway stamped on the =
lowest bass hammers and I believe they still wire all the felts from 1 =
to 88, though I haven't paid special attention to this lately. btw, =
what do they sound like?Bruce G

  Dont really know what they sound like. I got this picture from a =
freind who's having some touchweight problems. Struck me as an awfully =
lot of tail thickness (wood), and just didnt look quite like I remember =
NY Steinways looking. Wrong colour inner felt for one thing. Just a bit =
too red... reminded me of these Ronsens I have had laying around =
forever.  Maybe its the picture..=20

  I'll ask him about the name. Obviously no felt wire or staples here =
tho.=20
