The Univ. of Arkansas at Fayetteville music department is selling two =
Steinways. If you are interested in making a bid on either of these =
instruments, please contact Professor Jura Margulis at Margulis@uark.edu =
immediately.

The instruments are:
D ser. # 451664. UA ID # 248165 This instrument has served in the =
Concert Hall its entire life, except for the last two years in which =
time it has been in a classroom. In the early 90s, an action overhaul =
included new hammers, whippen, and key bushings. The piano is in very =
good condition structurally, although a few worn agraffes are starting =
to produce some jangling. Cabinet is OK, but not perfect. Starting bid =
is $20,000.

B ser # 186017. UA ID # 213124 This instrument served in a faculty =
studio until about five years ago, at which time it was moved to a =
classroom. It is in less than good condition, with strings notched at =
the agraffes resulting in string jumps when tuning. A couple of whippen =
have started to come apart and hammers are worn. Soundboard has cracks. =
Starting bid is $10,000.

If you have questions regarding the condition of these instruments, =
contact me at dcampbell@sprynet.com =20
