Well thanks Joe, but first you say "Most Square Pianos that had "plates"....were made of Steel." And then you say "By the time we got to the Square Grands, the material of choice was Cast Iron." So, I guess the question still remains: Are most square grand pianos steel plate or cast iron? Or am I missing something here?
