I had stability brought home to me very vividly in one situation.

A church was making a recording of songs to be sold at Christmas in July.
The piano they were using was about 25c flat. I brought it up the first day,
the second day it didn't need much of a raise and the third day it was even
closer and it stayed good the rest of the week for their recording sessions.
