moving the pin more than necessary, piano string stop to untune ,
really; after some years, just necessary to bring back a little
tension, a small 1? move of the pin is often enough, and does not
change the whole shebang too much.
that's what I understood anyway
On concert piano it is often just a matter to bring back phase, and
realize the tuning pin/string segment "knot"
