My understanding is that it is just sales fluff. You know, made in =
america and all that. American Craftsmen means only that Americans made =
the piano. Usually found on rather cheap, poorly made products, in my =
experience. Seems these pianos usually don't have much else to tout, =

I went to look at a console today, and there was nothing on the =
fallboard, but a sticker was on the top of the pinblock, and it said =
made in America by American Craftsman.
