Seems like the whole point of laminating (or at least one of the biggies) is to counter the tendency towards cracking along the grain. Tho I've always been curious as to just what kind of crown / strength / etc. etc. etc. you could get from a 2 ply 90 degree panel. Not really my end of things tho so I suppose I will have to settle on being curious. Cheers RicB
