Quentin, your method lend me to the idea that one can use a little suction
cup to install the fork directly on the top of its head.
Indeed only for hairless tuners, monk or priest hair dressed.

The look may see a bit strange, but the tone should be good.

How about hiring someone just to bang the fork and put it on your head while
you press the key and tune with the right hand...
For those who loose their hair, this is great, but for those who have all
their hair, it is better to shave the head in order to put the fork
properly.
Or you can train a dog to howl an A440 when playing this note... But this
can be annoying if the dogs stays while you tune the unisson !
