Hi folks

168 cm from the front of the stretcher to the back of the pianolid.
(lid edge is about 4.5 cm from the back of the case) Serial number
72727 no model letter visable anywhere... but it says "Ebonized" where
the model letter usually is. Its an old puppy... pre 1900 me thinks.
Rounded ends. 3 bridges... tenor is forward and disjunct with the long
bridge... a short peice of wood connects the two for some reason. Lots
of writing cast into the frame... rilled border... Overstrung patents
from late 1800's along with the usual Steinway, New York and Hamburg
just behind the high treble written on the plate. A wood brace from the
belly rail to the rim on the underside running right past the bell.....
in what looks forbausenede like an early tension bar as sold by
Pianotech these days.

Anyone able to indentifiy the model and age with this much (little) to
go on ?

Cheers
RicB
