Adjustable key bushings

Yes, I meant center pin bushings. (my response was to Terry Farrell =
concerning hammer shank flanges) I didn't saw that Ryan Sawers was =
talking about key bushings.
Btw, I just restored a piano-forte from 1844 (a Boisselot from =
Marseilles one like possessed F. List) and this piano had keys with a =
smal sawcut lenghtwise  with a screw to tighten up the key bushing. Many =
of the keys were bent on the front side, I suppose due to this saw cut?

second half of the 19th century on. It works well but is sometimes hard =

    Maybe it was to expensive to produce?
