They offer tops in a variety of off whites and yellows. They have an ivory
look alike that I particularly like.

Subject: Does anybody have or know where to find old Acrosonic keytops....?

Friendly piano folk,

And now, back to the more mundane aspects of piano technology...

I got a call a few weeks ago from a lady who had dropped her suitcase on her
sister's Acrosonic. Two of the keytops got chipped. She would like to
replace them (in lieu of putting on all new keytops). The piano was built
in the late 40s-early 50s, and it is the thin, yellowish(to look lie ivory)
stuff. All of the tops I have are way to white, and about twice as thick as
the ones on the piano.

Does anyone know of a source for this sort of thing, or does anyone have a
few of these tops squirrelled away for moments such as this?

Thanks for any guidance in this matter!

Dave S.
