Hello cy,

It's been 80 years that continuous center pin is no longer used in =
Europe.
Pleyel used it on their uprights and grands.

When the hammers are well glued and when the hammers don't hit the 3 =
strings properly, then you need to heat the shanks to correct it. =
Sometimes it is a bit tricky because one must be carfeful not to warp =
the hammer and its butt too much, otherwise it would become loose.
