plastic keytop glue

Greetings, 

           About a year ago, I ordered plastic keytop glue from Schaff, only 
to open up the jar and take a whiff. Smelled like Elmer's to me! So I checked 
a bit to my finger's touch. Felt like Elmer's to me! Hence, I used Elmer's on 
a few keytop jobs.
