Dear List,
I've got to install a set of upright butts in a 100-year-old 56" tall
Knabe upright, and was looking at those offered by PianoTek. Who has
opinions about the Pratt-Win vs. the Tokiwa. IOW, has anyone doe
enough of these to have installed, say (arbitrarily), a Tokiwa set
after a series of PWs, and said, "nice butts!" Or conversely,
installed say a series of Tokiwas and then their first PW, and said
"eew, funky butts"?
(As to the subject heading, I'm actually a Deputy in the Neighborhood
Decency Patrol, testing the effectiveness of the list's filters. So
far the filters haven't trapped much beyond the normal amount of soap
scum and body hairs of varying degrees of straightness.)
