Roger Wheelock at Dampp-Chaser has done much of that research. If you contact him at DC he'd probably be happy to share the results. He frequently attends the Cybercafe sessions on the last day of the PTG Annual Institute, and he's a fount of information on the subject. Of course, he might be slightly prejudiced in favor of his company, but the skeptics are free to perform the same tests to corroborate (or test) his findings.
