TuneLab Pro tuning curve

Curve is not flat? (that would make it a curve!). The idea is to
adjust the curve to be as flat as possible on the ends. There will
always be some gap between the two lines because of the transition
between the different intervals used to tune in the bass and treble. On
some pianos this gap is somewhat large as the program attempts to make
the transition between bass and treble crossing over a drastic change in
inharmonicity. Got to go, can't type more, let me know if this doesn't
help.

Subject: TuneLab Pro tuning curve

TuneLab users,

I'm curious about tuning curve strategies. According to the TuneLab
manual, a typical strategy is to choose the intervals you want to be
constant in the treble and the bass, and then adjust the deviation curve
so that the curve is flat at the ends. However, in some of the samples
that come with TuneLab Pro, the curve at the treble is flat on the upper
end but the curve at the bass is not flat, no matter what interval you
choose. Any idea why?
