Hi Del, You are correct, as authors we have to get permission to copy our own articles from the journal, to use as class hand outs. As copy write holder, I can do what I want with the content after 90days of publication. But if I copy it from a page of the Journal I have to get permission. I for one would not be too happy to find my material on the net, with out my prior consent. Regards roger >No. Both the Journal and the individual articles are protected by U.S. and >international copyright law. The Journal as a whole is copyrighted by PTG >and most, if not all, of the articles in it are copyrighted by the authors >themselves. This is true even if the authors have not actively filed for >copyright protection. > >You may not legally copy (whether from the magazine itself or from the CDs) >and/or distribute in any form any of this material without the written >permission of PTG and (usually) the author of the material you are >interested in. > >Del > > >_______________________________________________ >pianotech list info: https://www.moypiano.com/resources/#archives
