This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment _____ From: CChristus [mailto:chchristus@earthlink.net] Sent: Wednesday, January 21, 2004 11:09 PM To: 'pianotech-bounces@ptg.org' Subject: Stretcher Felt What can be used to replace the felt strip between the very front of the plate and the stretcher, on S&S 'L' Grand? What's in there now is about the same apparent density as temperament strip, but brown. Can anything like this be had from one of the supply houses, or is it only a "Genuine Replacement Part"? Also, it looks like it is partially glued in (on the wood side). If that's the way to replace it, I guess PVC-E should do, eh? Thanks in advance, Chuck Christus ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
