Hi,

It depends on which side of the equation you are looking at. To the client
it is 100% to the seller it is 50%. 

In some areas of trade like costume jewellery the mark up is 1000%. I.e. if
it cost them a dollar they sell it for 20.00. Another area of "high" markup
is caskets for funerals.
