Hi !
The hammer clam is a coved wood block with a very large hammer shape, and an
internal part that can be wedged with a wood wedge (hammering the wedge).
They may not be that difficult to produce, bur a sketch and a pic may be in
order. These are planned ...
BTW I have seen on 2 occasions only unglued hammer felt on an old piano
(what I recall) one was a Steinway 1969, the other an old English brand.
Seem to me that the lacquering process and the solvents used are probably
not very good to felt glue.

I'd probably reglue them if I wasn't replacing them. Depending on how
many there are, you can take a couple of blocks of wood and cove out one
side on the end of a belt sander so that you can put them on either side of
the hammer and pull them together with a clamp after working in a bit of
glue.
