Sohmer agraffe bridges ( again)

Now that I totally ignored the Sohmer bridge
discussion 2 weeks ago, I run into my second of these
in 30 years! Fuzzy-wuzzy sounds coming from agraffe
portion. Should I advise cusytomer to try to have
these refurbihed, or new, conventional bridge cap
installed?
