---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hello David, As yet we do not know what Cable grand we are talking about. All Cable grands are not equal. If --the grand you are talking about is a scale 44 or BB then this is an outstanding 5ft. piano. Some of these pianos have this no. cast into the plate near the tuning pins. Another way to identify this piano is the under structure. If it has a half moon belly strut and a steel rod running from side to side connected to the inter rim then it is a 44 or BB ( these scales are the same). Ole' Frank designed this scale himself. I would like to see what Del Fandrich could do with this piano. Many people tend to lump all pianos of the same brand into one pot. And then judge them all to be of the same quality.
