>>FYI: The latest from our Department of Fatherland Defense:

I had a friend carry a tap for me from point A to point B via plane. It =
was a rather large, somewhat expensive tap, so I didn't want her to to =
check it in the luggage, for fear that it would get her bag searched and =
possibly pilfered. I figured it was easy enough to explain face to =
face.
=20
The security folks would not let her pass with it. I guess it's sharp =
(kinda), so it could be used to saw through someone's neck or something =
-- or perhaps scrape a hole through the side of the plane. Apparently =
it's classified as a drill bit (apparently another deadly weapon that =
terrorists must have used against airline personnel).

=20
They aren=92t worried about the deadliest weapon known to man, our =
brains. Oh wait, we=92ve checked them also by letting them do this to =
us.=20
