  The security folks would not let her pass with it.  I guess it's sharp
(kinda), so it could be used to saw through someone's neck or something --
or perhaps scrape a hole through the side of the plane.  Apparently it's
classified as a drill bit (apparently another deadly weapon that terrorists
must have used against airline personnel).

  Anyway, beware when traveling with any sort of cutting tool, no matter how
benign.

Right. Another one is a digital caliper. Apparently that 3/4" inside
measuring tip can bring down armies. Eventually the head of Seattle security
allowed it through. It took an extra hour.
