Stéphane...I have not been following this thread...if the question was how to cut the excess of the key front...here is what I do. I have a large set of end cutting (aka: end nippers) wire cutters. The face of these nippers is 1", or 27cm, wide. I very slowly and carefully ground down the face until I had aprox 1/16th", or 1 cm, thickness left. This grinding left me with a very close cutting set of nippers. I then very carefully sharpened 'one' side of the cutting jaw, from the front. and back....I left the other side untouched........this makes the jaws act like a cutting press rather than a two sided cutting tool. After preparation the tool works great! What I do is after the keytop is glued on, but before I set it aside, is put the anvil jaw flush with the underside of the key..the sharpened side on the outside of the keyfront and then snip off the excess front. This leaves a very nice, nearly flush, cut of the key front. After the keys have dried I run each keybottom over a piece of sandpaper, laid flat on my workbench, this dresses off the keybottom very nicely and leaves a very good, and professional looking result.
