Hide Glue

It depends on the glue. I bought two types from Joe Garrett. One is 3X
Chrome and the other is ..... I forget. the Chrome is wonderful. It
dissolves within a half-hour and I use it then. The other c%&p requires an
overnight soak. I certainly don't have the qualifications to have the final
word on this, but if it is clear and the right consistency, sounds to me
like it is ready to use.
