Invariably, I will live closer to some and farther from others. As I am trying to encourage business, I don't choose to discriminate on the basis of a random selection of residence. Since I cover a broad area and have developed a large clientele, I can always (and do always) schedule a minimum of three appointments in any area I am traveling to. This way I avoid the inevitable price comparisons on referral business, which is how most of my new business is generated. And, if I happen to move, nobody has to worry that their prices might go up by my choice to relocate. There are other methods, such as yours. I don't think it's the best method. But, I suppose, if I lived in a more rural area I might reconsider.
