spinets

James,
Was that a Sohmer with or without plastic parts.  I have seen some poor
Sohmers just like some of the others.  In my opinion, the best thing
that has happened in the American piano industry is the phasing out of
spinets.

I notice in the Ancott directory that there are no spinets being made
today.
Wurlitzer or Baldwin was the last.
Talking about good ones, the Sohmer spinets were quite nice and I
remember
as Haddorf that was nice in a 36' size.
