Square knot (was Tuner's Knot--NOT!)

Since I've been a Boy Scout, I thought about using a square knot ?

The original description is "right over left and left over right"

However, I learned a different way. Using the picture, make the loop 
with the blue rope and thread the white rope through and pull.



What's your thoughts ?
