     Welll...because I am cheap, and besides, at the rate that I read books, 
I need to obtain them inexpensively.
      I frequent those used library book bonanzas where the books are a 
dollar each (used sheet music is 25 and 50 cents too!). On the other hand, some 
books like this On Pitch, I will have to break down and probably buy new.
