Where can I learn about touchweight?

Greetings, 

             Where can I learn about touchweight basics? Is key balancing 
important or relavent to upright pianos or only grands? The only thing I know 
about how to control the feel (heavy or light and deep or shallow) in an upright 
is by adjusting spoons and key depth.  Is there more to it than this? 
Suggestions on books to acquire would be appreciated.
