Hey there Avery,
Why amplify? Because the hall is huge (just under 3500--two balconies) =
and so dead acoustically that you can't hear the piano beyond the 10th =
row--or so I've been told by more than one person.

ON OR IN STAGE FLOOR WITHOUT CONSULTATION WITH AND PERMISSION OF =

--Lift is controllable from Stage Manager's console, stage =
right, or with portable control box plugged into floor of Apron. =
Connection for box is at center of Apron.
--Maximum depth of lift =3D 12 feet; lift is usable at any =
depth from 0 to 12 feet.
--Apron will accommodate up to fifty musicians.
--Access to lift via three methods:
1. from backstage
2. from Lounges on either side of House (See Auditorium =
Floor Plan)
3. from Rehearsal Room under Stage, but only when lift is at =
