I think that the "becket" is the flat part of the wire,
and perhaps the "kneb" is the bend?

I think I once heard that the little hole is called the "gretch",
but these days, the data retrieval system is "working to rule,"
and when the temperature gets above 85° F, the neuro-employees
simply go on strike. "Decent conditions, or we'll give you CRS!!"
