For this, I strongly advise for the use of active noise cancellation
ear protection. This is the kind of ear protection used for hunters
and shooting. It does an incredible job of cancelling the impact noise
of the nailer. The fun part is you still can hear the music on your
stereo or the phone ringing while you would install pins.
